Join our effort to help 2000 victims of the conflict in Northern Ethiopia!
On behalf of P2P/ Health Care Alliance For Ethiopia (HCAFE), the Ethio-Canadian Network for Advocacy & Support (ECNAS) and partnering civic and advocacy organizations, we are delighted to invite you to an online fundraising event on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 11:00 am Eastern Standard Time (EST).
Since the onset of the conflict in Northern Ethiopia, Health care providers from HCAFE have been travelling to Ethiopia to provide medical assistance alongside local health care staff. In addition, P2P/HCAFE and ECNAS have delivered much-needed medical supplies that was donated by you. HCAFE is an ad-hoc group of like-minded Ethiopians in North America, affiliated with people-to-people Inc. ECNAS is a non-profit organization that represents the voice of more than 100,000 Ethiopian Canadians.
Our team in the recent mission trips have observed that the majority of survivors requiring definitive treatment have extremity injuries. Our medical mission team in discussion with onsite surgeons have identified that 10,000 ETB / 200 USD is needed to mend one victim.
For only $200, we can help deliver medical assistance to a victim, which would ensure they receive the level of support and surgical treatment they need.
We cannot think of a better way to honor and support our affected communities who have become victims of the conflict. That is why we are reaching out to you to consider making the most generous gift you can to support our campaign goal of providing acute medical care for 2000 victims for a total of USD 400,000.
